Index License Manager software platform earns prestigious industry recognition
Calero, a leading provider of Technology Expense Management (TEM) and Market Data Management (MDM) solutions, today announced that Index License Manager (ILM) was named a 2020 SIIA CODiE Award finalist in the Best FinTech Solution category. Finalists represent the best products, technologies, and services in software, information and business technology.
“We’re excited to be recognized for a product that helps leading financial institutions address the growing complexities in managing index licensing,” said Charles Layne, Chief Executive Officer of Calero. “We’ve gained a great deal of momentum over the past six months with a variety of award wins for our market data software tools. It’s a testament to the team’s expertise and the dedication we have to innovate in the financial technology and market data management industry.”
Index licensing fees have skyrocketed through valuation-based fee models that increasingly benefit index providers. The ILM platform reduces manual processes for both the buy-side and sell-side, automates reporting capabilities and vendor declarations, improves cost allocation methodologies (e.g. to funds), and helps conform with recently enforced benchmark regulations and IOSCO’s Principles for Financial Benchmarks. The centralized database contains index data licenses, benchmark licenses, reporting licenses, and all other index license types, with an intuitive user interface developed specifically for index license management. The result is an informed and complete holistic dashboard view of an organization’s enterprise-wide licensing with all index providers.
Acknowledged as the premier awards program for the software and information industries for 35 years, the SIIA CODiE Awards are produced by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the principal trade association for the software, education, media and digital content industries. Index License Manager was honored as one of 150 finalists across the 41 business technology categories.
“The 2020 CODiE Award finalists join a long and distinguished history of innovative products and services destined to transform the way we do business. We congratulate all of our finalists and look forward to seeing their impact across the B2B market for years to come,” said Jeff Joseph, President of SIIA.
The SIIA CODiE Awards are the industry's only peer-recognized awards program. Business technology leaders including senior executives, analysts, media, consultants and investors evaluate assigned products during the first-round review. Their scores determine the SIIA CODiE Award finalists which accounts for 80% of the overall score. SIIA members then vote on the finalist products and the scores from both rounds are tabulated to select the winners. Business Technology category winners will be announced May 18 during an online winner announcement ceremony.
